As Mental Health Awareness Week ends, I rounded up the top 7 self-care for writers tweets. As a mental health advocate, I hope they’re helpful to you!

We all know that Twitter is a veritable gold mine, but today I was genuinely impressed with the wealth of tweets I found about self-care for writers! If you need a little pick-me-up to pull out of an overworked, burnout tailspin, take a few minutes to absorb these seven gems I found while trying to relax and de-stress.



I, personally, love Psychology Today articles, and while this one isn’t specifically for writers, it’s got some fantastic self-care tips I’ll definitely be trying as I seek to avoid more burnout.



This quote is insanely relevant this week, but also at all times for people who struggle with mental and otherwise invisible illnesses. For my writer friends out there who struggle with mental health issues, I hope this quote is as inspirational to you as it is to me!


As a person who has experienced this torment more than once, I feel obligated to tell you that this PSA is insanely important, and you should take heed.
